Bring your questions about singing and vocal health and Darci will answer as many as possible. Also prepare a song to sing; there will be two random singers chosen to receive live feedback during the call. You can sing a capella, to a karaoke track (no lead vocal) or accompany yourself (note: if you use a karaoke track, please play it on a device OTHER than the one you're Zooming on to prevent freezing and sound quality issues).

ONLINE CLASS FOR SINGERS ON A BUDGET!

Can't afford private lessons? The Darci Monet Vocal Style Studio also offers four-week online vocal workshops for singers on a budget!  How it works: gather a group of friends and/or colleagues (minimum 3, maximum 10) and Darci will schedule a weekly two-hour Zoom session for your group over the course of four weeks. Each individual brings a song to work on for the duration of the series and agrees to be part of an interactive small group where personal attention is guaranteed AND you learn from each other in a safe, encouraging environment. Super affordable (only $175 each up to 5 people; only $150 each from 6-10)! PLUS, no commute, sing in your pajamas from home or your car, join from anywhere in the country. This is also a great, cost effective way to get a feel for Darci's coaching style before committing to private lessons.

PREREQUISITES

1) YOU MUST HAVE DECENT PITCH AND KNOW WHEN YOU ARE SHARP/FLAT/"PITCHY" TO TAKE THIS COURSE. If you're not sure you meet this requirement, contact Darci directly ASAP at MinxMusic@aol.com or 818-209-6432 PRIOR TO THE SIGN UP DEADLINE. You may need a brief over-the-phone-or-Zoom assessment (free) to be sure you can keep up.

2) YOU MUST BE WARMED UP BEFORE CLASS. Due to the nature of live streaming, it is not possible to lead the entire class in a warm up before individual work segments begin. If you do not have a proper daily vocal warm up routine (actual vocal exercises, not just singing your favorite songs) Darci is happy to offer a private discounted session to teach you some exercises before the course starts. 

3) YOU MUST HAVE ACCESS TO A DEVICE WITH VIDEO AND SOUND THAT CONNECTS TO THE INTERNET, THEN DOWNLOAD THE ZOOM SOFTWARE FROM WWW.ZOOM.US PRIOR TO THE FIRST CLASS MEETING. Don't worry, it's very simple on your end and FREE but DO NOT wait till the last minute! We will not waste precious class time dealing with tech issues.

4) CLASS PERIOD/TIME REFERENCED IS IN PACIFIC STANDARD TIME. PLEASE ADJUST FOR YOUR OWN TIME ZONE ACCORDINGLY:
Eastern - add three hours
Central - add two hours
Mountain - add one hour
